PS: One of these missions is up live RIGHT NOW. It is the PL 52 Canny Valley Repair the Shelter with the "Epic Hero" reward, you can try it if you want to confirm yourself. Please read the post before doing so. This mission expires in 1 hour from this post, I hope someone can get footage of this bug. (The mission has now expired)
EDIT: Also in Plankerton apparently, there was a mission today that was supposed to give a "Rare Hero".
The missions in context
There are few alert missions that claim to, but do not give the following rewards:
1.Epic Hero (not a specific hero name, just an "Epic Hero" reward)
These are the ones I currently know of.
(I want to clarify that I know about the 10 alert/day cooldown and I did have valid alerts, I could see the reward on the map and I got the symbol of the reward along with other rewards in the Alert Rewards chest after the mission.)
After completing the mission, the Alert Reward Chest says you got a hero with the following text:
Choice between two Epic Heroes.
But there's no choice after that. Fine, you collect the rest of the rewards.
Once you exit the chest menu, nothing happens. No choice of Epic hero is given, it's not in the Loot tab, the Heroes Tab, or the Transforms tab. Came to Reddit and looked it up, turns out the issue has been going on for months now.
Please upvote this post for visibility, a lot of people are spending time and resources on these missions but not getting their rewards. It has been reported before, but I hope Epic notices it this time and gives us our rewards.
